Re: What was the last movie you watched?

The Blind Side
A good movie overall.  However, I didn't find it as satisfying as other inspirational films and i felt the movie lacked something, I can't place my finger on it though.

Fantastic Mr. Fox
I enjoy this movie very much.  The visual style is very unique, physics make sense, yet the don't.  Everything seems flat and yet 3D.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

I'm watching Food Inc. No woner it won the Oscar. This movie is scary! They show live chicks like baby chickens sliding down a metal slide thing into someone's hands. That person kills them and then they're chemichally grown then eaten by you!

"How to Train Your Dragon"

The absolute best Dreamworks film to date. Even surpassing Kung Fu Panda.
And that's really saying something about an animation company that has thrived on 'meh' to make money all this time.
I'll write a proper review later on, but for now...
go see it!!!

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

That's not allowed to happen. It's just can't. It would ruin my perception of reality. We have to have a bad to have a good, and Dreamworks is that bad to Pixar.

That said, I have considered checking this one out, but not until after it comes out on DVD.

1.     Bruck    67 up, 17 down
"Bruck" is a word synonymous with "ugly" (or words pertaining to ugly). It is predominantly used to describe individuals (or other things) that are not at all aesthetically-pleasing (and usually, are quite repulsive looking).
Harsh (11) is bruck beyond comprehension.

That's the first definition.

So? Lots of words can have more than one different meaning.

The last film I watched was Easy Rider. That has to be the

worst ending to a movie

I have ever seen. Except for maybe Monty Python and the Holy Grail.

Didn't you learn about Homonyms and Homphones when you were little?

I saw American History X over the weekend and it was a great film, but damn, how many times did they drop the f-bomb?

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

I watched The Island this friday.

It was good, it reminded me of Doctor Who (when he and rose first go to new new new york)

I also liked the ending, which made me wonder...

I bought easy rider on DVD for a cheap price, I thought it could of been good because it had" Tarantino presents " on it, but I didn't like it.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

I thought it had great scenes, acting and music.
The ending was perfect.

Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs

Totally worth it, if only for the snowball fight scene. But the rest of the film was enjoyable, too. I love some of the lampshading the film, such as when the mayor refers to the "completely unbreakable dam.]"

However, as fun as this film was, I disliked the sappy father-son stuff. It's kind of, well, overused.

If you need any persuading to watch this film, just watch this scene.
