Topic: Skateboarding Tests

UTUBE

Heres some tests I did with a skateboarder. I wanted to see how well I could mask something this lt (difficult for me anyways) The first three are a lot better then the last three but oh well.

Re: Skateboarding Tests

Some of those were pretty decent. But bump your framerate up, it was kind of slow and jerky at points. mini/wink

Re: Skateboarding Tests

The gravity of the skateboarder seemed off... he just kind of moved a fixed amount while up in the air, rather than slowing at the top of the arc and then coming down farther each frame at the bottom. Otherwise, the masking looked excellent, and I liked the camera movement at the end of the first clip.

Re: Skateboarding Tests

Thanks glad you liked it, and yeah the gravity is off. Mostly, however, on the 360 flip.

Re: Skateboarding Tests

that's good. there was soome light flicker though.

Re: Skateboarding Tests

That was pretty good, for a Lego animation.

Re: Skateboarding Tests

Good work on the masking. But lots of light flicker.

Keep at it..

Re: Skateboarding Tests

It's actually spelled "tre-flip."

On the whole, not bad. The physics of some of the jumps were a bit off, but I like how you had him bend and absorb the landing.

Re: Skateboarding Tests

Yeah Tre as in 3, oh well. And thanks for the comments guys.
