Topic: Motion tracking with a face

This effect will be used in some of my future films! This is a really simple animation with not too much going on. The star of the video is really the minifigure's face! mini/sunnies  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GEg3uaG_wv0

Thanks! I actually used a pixel identification effect called "optical flow." It looks for similar pixels from frame to frame within a tracking region that I designated. After I tracked the head of the minifigure, I applied a point to it (this enables me to attach things to it). I added a little face that I drew in GIMP onto the point and it stuck to the tracked point! This may sound extremely complex, but in reality it is very simple! mini/bigsmile
