Brickfilms.net is running and has many LEGO films posted. although its not perfect yet, but we are up and runnin'. Their are already many post of LEGO films in different categories. action, drama, sci-fi, war, comedy, fantasy, and of course horror. If that is Brickfilms.NET then why is there a Brickfilms.COM logo at the top?
I'm using Avast anti-virus with full updates. It goes perfectly.
Brickfilms.com is unused but is reborn with brickfilms.net. what you are experiencing is a false positive virus threat. 
change your anti-virus man. I've been running my anti-virus for almost 4 years and nothing is on the site brickfilms.net.
Brickfilms.net is on its development.. ones the important parts on the site is done. LOGO will be replaced.. simple as that..

I'm still not sure why I should switch BiM for a website with a less-than-stellar layout and appears to only have five active members within the last month.
And you just quadriple posted (yes, it excists). Don't use the forums as a chatroom please.

@Walrus We are not letting you decide which side to keep. We are just trying to let everybody know that brickfilms.net is alive. Hoping that someone will share their films and thoughts with us.
I don't want to pick a side. I'm just not sure what the appeal of the website is.
please kindly wait for that appeal to be seen. We are on development and has many more features to add.
No offence, but I'm not sure why we need more competition. Were sort of completing against the BFG, which has more members than our site by far.
Also, I can't see your site. Antivirus.
Okay. Now, We are not competing. As of now, Our website is no competition compared to others (everybody knows that). We are starting afresh, looking for some to share their time with us. We are not looking for competition my friend.
and oh, some antivirus detects our site with malicious content. but I am running with a full updates antivirus and everything is okay. false positive virus threat maybe. an antivirus depends on how people rate the site.
I don't see what the Antivirus problem is. I can open the website fine without an Antivirus alert.
I second to that LASF..

Oh my gosh Trodoon, Bricks in Motion is sooooo much farther ahead than the Brickfilmer's guild. Nobody posts there anymore, hardly anyone. And also when it was first released they clarified that it was not meant to compete with us, rather serve as a social network site for brickfilmers. We're in no trouble there.
And Brixforce, if you would like to gain more members, maybe try a different outlook on brickfilming community, so you don't have to compete. I joined both BiM and BF.com on the same day but I have not even made a single post on BF because the other site was so much more inviting. Your site has a pretty good design, I'll make an account to support y'all but I won't guarantee checking up on it ofter. 
EDIT: Here's an interesting dillema. When I try to make the account topitmunkeydog it tells me that the username already exists, even though there are only 15 members and none of them are named topitmunkeydog. And it says there are 15,000 members but only 15 active members. Did you like somehow merge this website with BF.com, would I already have an account, or wut?

Hey Brixforce first of all, what was wrong with the website I made for Brickfilms? Surely that was better than some Wordpress Installation with a few plugins and CSS modifications.
I'm kind of saddened considering the amount of effort I put into a custom website like that, good thing I backed everything up I suppose!

That's the thing. However, I found out about BiM through a thread on BFG. The BFG basically turned into Roblox, which was a good game, but then they had to ruin it with a lot of useless features. And even though I like thefourmonkeys, I don't like the fact that mommy monkey had to start that tag game in chat. Ever since that, their chatroom went from having lots of people to none at all. It even affected how many people were online. Also, unlike BiM bans, which are for a good and genuine reason, I got a permanent ban just for saying "No offence, but this place has turned into a ghost town. Please stop this tag game" in the chat room. Their site faces the collapse that happened to brickfilms.com

Alright, went to the site, and found out that my brickfilms.com account had been transferred without the password. It then sent a link to reset to my email. This begs the question, is this a complete transfer of the old brickfilms.com site, or a new one. If that is the case, how did they get my email and account info?
I tried going to the site. Nothing's really happened. Plus, we already have enough threads for stuff like this.
@topitmunkeydog thank you for the support. others are saying we are competing with other brick filming forums, but we are just simple trying to get some attention. attention that are not dragging people but attention for some to stop by. As said, We are on a process of development. So it would be nice if you suggest or comment on our current forum state.
So again, We are not looking for competition. We are looking for friends.
*edit> everything on the old database was ported to a new one. so i guess old accounts would be available, but not a guarantee to all accounts to work. still on development. thank you.

The hostility and scepticism you have received here is not because people are reacting against a potential competitor to BiM - yes, we like this place, but it's not like it makes any money so any "competing" sites wouldn't really take much away - it's because people are quite baffled about why we'd need another brickfilming site when we've already got one nicely designed, fully-functional site here with an active community on it. If you could explain why then I'm sure people would become a lot more trusting of your idea.
