Film making is a long and careful process. Maybe fit in breaks?
Yes it does take time...
If you need help to cope with the long boring process listen to music or a podcast while animating.
It does take a lot of time, but if you have some experience you know how to do stuff effectively and make it less boring.
Animating with friends always makes things less boring. Also if you don't know how to animate something instead of sitting there mucking around for an idea you can have your friend do it instead.
I recomend listening to music or talking to a freind or relitave while animating.
Naah, when I animated with my friends it just took more time and it was even more boring. Depends who you animate with.
It takes practice.
My best advice would be to take breaks while animating. Also having a good plan of what you will be animating also helps, as you know exactly what you will be doing and won't spend as much time away form your studio thinking of what you will do.
Also, i used to listen to music while animating, but when I finally stopped, I found that my animation actually IMPROVED quite a bit. Take from that what you will.

Don't forget the compositing gods.
Ideally, more time put into a film = a better finished product. So if making a film starts to feel like a drag, focus your thoughts on how to improve the film so your mind will be occupied with something interesting. The music idea is good too, but with friends it may depend on how they affect your ability to film.
