Re: Developers/Programmers Needed! Let's create a stopmotion program!

OK, I have not updated the Repo at all mini/shifty , sorry about that.

I have been searching for the fix to our problem for a while now, and haven't been focusing on much else. The only other thing that I have done is add in White Balance support, but that is a ridiculously minor task. I have messed up the program so many times that I have downloaded 4 times and unzipped it seven times mini/dizzy mini/sweat

However, I can unzip the program once more to have the default program, then just add the white balance stuff and push that to the repo and call it mac version 0.1 mini/wink

But seriously, really haven't done a lot because of the EDSDK problem, but I really think that I almost have it.

Re: Developers/Programmers Needed! Let's create a stopmotion program!

So would I need to do the seven steps that CW told you on my local machine, or are those steps obsolete with the fact that the steps were for a different repo than I have? Or is the repo the same?

Re: Developers/Programmers Needed! Let's create a stopmotion program!

Sorry about forgetting to answer your question, no you won't, unless your using the Solaris OS (I believe it is a branch of linux).

Re: Developers/Programmers Needed! Let's create a stopmotion program!

Here is the repository, I don't think that I can edit CWStudios' repo, so I just added mine. I'm sorry if there are two identical repoes now, but anyway here is the White Balance supported almost there mac program. I think.

Whoa, sorry about the double post mini/dizzy

Re: Developers/Programmers Needed! Let's create a stopmotion program!

I think the link is wrong... it's https://github.com/CavemanIncorporated/Biscuit-Mac-0.1

Re: Developers/Programmers Needed! Let's create a stopmotion program!

Another great suggestion, Topit! I had actually done that in an earlier one but didn't do it quite like you shared. It looks great this way:

Re: Developers/Programmers Needed! Let's create a stopmotion program!

/Macintosh/EDSDK_64/EDSDK_Backup.framework

This framework is a backup. But where is the original copy?

Re: Developers/Programmers Needed! Let's create a stopmotion program!

Tenny - Remove the _Backup from the end and just copy the entire folder that houses that. Then rename one of the two to _Backup again. I did that just because I have about 5 different EDSDK.frameworks in mine, and I need to ensure which one is the proper one. So, it is the correct one mini/smile

Just threw this together to accompany this font I found. How majestic

Re: Developers/Programmers Needed! Let's create a stopmotion program!

Where do I place the copied folder? Where the original one is?

Whoa, sorry about the double post mini/dizzy

Is there no way you can support Sony cameras with this program?

Re: Developers/Programmers Needed! Let's create a stopmotion program!

Tenny - Under the Macintosh folder where it displays 2 EDSDK's. It's also not required, I just like to operate with a backup.

Gopher - I had not thought about that. Perhaps, but we will need a Sony to test on. Are you code savvy?

Re: Developers/Programmers Needed! Let's create a stopmotion program!

Let's just say I'm not the best man to look for if you're trying to reverse-engineer a Sony DSLR mini/tongue
It would be a nice/helpful feature, but no rush.

Re: Developers/Programmers Needed! Let's create a stopmotion program!

Okay, Gopher. It may be a few weeks, and I also don't know what CWStudios is doing for coding right now, but there is a long list already. That will be a great thing to add in, though, as I had forgotten that Sony made cameras.

This is what my "Machintosh" folder looks like. Any comments?

Re: Developers/Programmers Needed! Let's create a stopmotion program!

The part that matters (EDSDK.framework) I believe is correct, so you're good.

Re: Developers/Programmers Needed! Let's create a stopmotion program!

The program still can't find the framework library.

Re: Developers/Programmers Needed! Let's create a stopmotion program!

I believe we have reached an impasse. You and I both. I'm trying to figure this out, and it is proving to be a bit tricky.

Re: Developers/Programmers Needed! Let's create a stopmotion program!

Well, in the meantime, I've whipped up a quick advertisement logo for my signature (look below)

Re: Developers/Programmers Needed! Let's create a stopmotion program!

That looks great! How did you get it to link when it was clicked on?

Re: Developers/Programmers Needed! Let's create a stopmotion program!

Simple BBCode. The actual code would be something like:
