Re: Developers/Programmers Needed! Let's create a stopmotion program!
@Repelling Spider I actually prefer the cute little biscuit without the glare on it's eyes, as I think it just doesn't fit in very well.

I am working on some of the more basic stuff for windows, I plan on adding Sony support but without a camera to test or a developer with one it's pretty hard to do, the same for nikon to right now. For a list of KNOWN supported cameras go here this doesn't mean other webcams won't work they just aren't tested yet, the canon list is straight from canon and what they say will work currently I want to add powershot support soon.
Caveman and I have done everything we can do about the Mac version. We didn't get much done, and I think we may have to talk to Canon about it... I'm not sure.
tenny1028 - I don't think it's Canon, but at this point I really am not sure.
CWStudios - Do you know a code to search for .frameworks and not .dylibs beside the Native.loadLibrary? Thanks
Also, this is EXACTLY what we're doing, same framework and everything, but there is no clear solution to it

May I ask why you need a developer with a Sony camera?

No, you may not
Just Kidding
Alright, so I have gained interest in this (programmer/know some bits of Python), and have sent an email.
Gopher- Well, I could go into great detail but I'll just say why do you need an iphone to develop for an iphone.
Caveman- I'm not sure but shouldn't the path look more like
C:\StopMotion-Mac\Macintosh\EDSDK_64\EDSDK.framework\Versions\A\EDSDK.framework
Troodon- Awesome.
Wow, that makes sense. I am planning to purchase a Sony camera if that helps...
Well, if we don't have anybody working on the Sony Camera stuff, Sony cameras will not be compatible with this program, and you know how it is: we'll get a bad reputation b/c of a small compatibility amount

EDSDK_64/EDSDK.framework doesn't exist.
here's the contents of the EDSDK_64 folder:
ReadMe.txt
EDSDK_Backup.framework (folder)
contents of EDSDK_Backup.framework
EDSDK
Resources
Versions (versions)

Guess what guise!
My stepdad owns a Sony DSLR, so that might come in handy for you guys.
This is fun, playing with files and folders.
