Seems decent, Alfa--I mean Cooked Cat.
Personally, I would add a glow to it. The current one looks like what it is, a particle effect overlay-ed onto an animated footage. Of course this depends on what you're using to create the effect.
The environment is pretty dark, I would add a glow around it. But the particles themselves are great.
