Just a random shoot out.
Would have liked to get some more camera shake I think,
but I hope you guys like it!

Re: LEGO WARFARE

How come only 2 stars, and how come the two dislikes?
If you guys didn't like it could you tell me why?

Re: LEGO WARFARE

It's just some silly YouTubers that dis-liked it, don't pay any attention to that.
As for the two stars, lack of plot, and the camera shaking sometimes, but not other times, made it look worse that it really was. Another thing I saw was the animated "shells" from the rifle, they looked catoon-ish, and really didn't fit in with the rest of the scene.

Next time, you may want to have no camera shaking, or have the cam shake the whole clip. You may also want to make a longer movie, with some sort of plot. The gun effects looked good to me, but the animation could have been a little bit smoother.

And you shouldn't post on your own movie unless someone else has posted, and it didn't bump anywhere because you just posted it today. You should just edit your first post if you want to say something more. mini/wink

Re: LEGO WARFARE

I think it's pretty nice. But I suprised that you are the maker.

Re: LEGO WARFARE

The visual were really good, I liked some of the camera work like some focus changes and most of the angles. Animation was nice, and I think it worked well, even though it may look choppy: it wasn't too fast or too slow for its framerate and the movements were well animated most of the time, with few exceptions.
The set is nothing spectacular, but it works since the movie didn't need that. Effects and sound were good.
But.
It's nothing more than a shootout. An unoriginal, predictable shootout. Technically it's well done, but there is no story. Just two guys we know nothing about shooting eachother, there's no empathy. We don't really know who is the good guy, and we feel nothing for them. So, that's it. I gave it 3/5 because, as I mentioned before, it is technically well done, and it's not a pain for our eyes/ears, but for the lack of story makes it just another average brickfilm, without ambitions that gives nothing memorable to the viewer.
If you want to make an action scene, thats fine, but think more about how you're going to make it, plan it well before starting to shoot anything.

Re: LEGO WARFARE

Well I agree with pretty much everything you said. . . but the set is much cooler then it appeared to be in the video. mini/sad
I don't know about "spectacular" but still great.

Re: LEGO WARFARE

Oh, I was actually praising the set, it certainly did his job properly in the movie, and I liked that I didn't see any random color in scene.

Well, thanks then. mini/smile  And you didn't see the red and blue?

Re: LEGO WARFARE

You've improved a lot! mini/smile
I liked the effects though the animation itself is a bit choppy.

3/5

THanks! And the video was shot at 15fps. I just need to make the minis move better.
