Music by Koji Kondo. My one regret with this video is even bothering with the zoom. I'm enormously happy with the lighting in the first shot, though.

I haven't animated anything in over 3 months. I am sorry about that, but I have been working on my magnum opus: Ghost Cat: Port of Call New Orleans

I'm well aware of the light flicker. This is my first time animating with a camcorder, so these are mistakes I can correct in future films.

I love it, skyward bored is a hilarious title.

Re: LEGO Legend of Zelda: "Skyward Bored"

I love this game. The animation is pretty good here, and it is quite funny! Nice!

Oh, and I didn't mention: I LOVE THIS GAME.

I reject your reality, and substitute my own.

Re: LEGO Legend of Zelda: "Skyward Bored"

Thanks so much guys! It only took like two hours to animate, which is surprising since I used a completely different technique.

By "bady", you do mean bad, right?
So if you do mean that, then you're saying it was good?

Re: LEGO Legend of Zelda: "Skyward Bored"

The animation was really quite good, and the film in general was very funny, the light flicker and minor camera bumps are the only drawbacks. I liked it.

Re: LEGO Legend of Zelda: "Skyward Bored"

Very clever title, and funny idea as well.  The flicker was there, but the animation was good.  The only bad thing I can really say is it dragged on a little bit, but at thirty seconds, not a problem.  Good Job!

The animation was only 21 seconds, and that only consisted of a guy walking over to a treasure chest, then getting eaten by it. I don't see how it dragged on. I'm glad you liked it though.

LOL, nice. The animation was quite smooth, and I thought the film was quite funny. Keep it up!

Re: LEGO Legend of Zelda: "Skyward Bored"

Awesome! Would love to see more zelda brickfilms!

Re: LEGO Legend of Zelda: "Skyward Bored"

Ha ha mini/smile
Good job, but I would have given the guy real legs (I mean regular-sized LEGO legs) instead of the smaller legs which can't be animated. It would definitely look better when he walks.

I have just released Indiana Jones and the Mystical Gemstone, you can watch it here!

Re: LEGO Legend of Zelda: "Skyward Bored"

Hmm. I was actually skeptical about using those legs, but I wanted to try out a new walk cycle too. I consulted with some people, and they thought it worked really well. Check your Internet connection, because it actually looks pretty smooth. I see where you're coming from though; I thought the same thing when I was animating it, but I decided to go with it. The Wind Waker is my favorite game, and I really liked how Link's stubby legs were, so I used this version of Link.
