Re: Lego Ideas (formerly Cuusoo)
I have an idea but i haven't posted it on Lego cuusoo yet since i'm not old enough.
Here's Brief Plot
We have seen many Lego super robot creations over the past few years such as Lego macross and the beloved gundam. If anything would represent weight to Lego that would be a good idea, using the license with Bandai and their franchise Chogokin it would make LEGO-KIN.
There are many various sets and themes but they are in Number order like the numbering system on Chogokin figures and sets although I do recalling this the GL and GL2 series because the L stands for Lego. Overall all metal parts are individually bagged in Styrofoam to prevent it getting scratched and all plastic parts go behind into the vacuum tray this only happens on the first branch of figures in GL series not the GL2.
GL series focuses on the Famous robots and Tokusatsu heroes of Japan while GL2 focuses on Gundam Mobile Units from various shows. There will be Less Mazinger Z figures because i don’t want too much like the SOC series. And most figures will be aimed at adult collectors due to the fact that most Figures are not meant to be played and most of them must be put up on display.
If Bandai America decides to change most of the franchises and eliminate most figures then they can go ahead and do it but put less metal to make it playable for kids and most of the sets can be japan or UK exclusives.
Half of the figures have less Play value and the figures are meant to have gimmicks that are show accurate. It won’t be like clover when they make gundam figures and they failed because they are not anime accurate. Legokin Figures will have a high prices, but there will be Special sets, Extras and Stand alone models.
If it comes very successful there will be a GL3 and 4 series to continue, Spiral Zone Figures will be added to the list and many others depending if Lego likes it or not. There will be no star wars of Transformers because Bandai does not license these Franchises but the Japanese Spiderman.
