Re: The State of Bricks in Motion

Yep.  That was up for about 15 seconds.  We'll probably see a fair amount of errors that are around for a minute or less over the next couple months as we're working on adding extensions and making other changes, unless it stays for a long time don't worry about it.

Re: The State of Bricks in Motion

Rest in Pieces, Brickbot.

Smeagol, can we have an option on our profile to put "Production Company"?

EX: Brickmation Entertainment, Bob Name Films, NobodyCaresPictures, etc

"actuallly this involves spiderman too, not batman. but im also taking a new approach, more comedy, less action. i dont see to many movies like that with more comedy than action" --SteveStarfyTV on an Indiana Jones meets Star Wars idea.

Re: The State of Bricks in Motion

Hmm...not sure about that.  Nobody here except Tony Mines and Tim Drage have a real production company that I know of, so that might be a little confusing.

We've added new header / footer graphics to help the forums match the rest of the site a little better.  Thanks to Sloth for some assistance with the programming side of this.

Re: The State of Bricks in Motion

I'd the option to edit my "Member" thingy.

Re: The State of Bricks in Motion

Custom titles can be fun but they tend to be confusing and easy to abuse if everyone gets to change their title.  I'd be opened to removing "Member" though, or changing it to something else for everybody if there is a better alternative.

Re: The State of Bricks in Motion

Changed "Registered:" to "Joined:" under usernames on topic pages.  This should keep the whole thing on one line.

That's much better since it goes well with the top of the modules. Now you just have to change the "New Posts" icons like that mini/tongue

Re: The State of Bricks in Motion

I think that the "Announcements & Contests" forum should change name to "Contests" or something in that direction, because the anouncements happens here in this forum...

I know that it is for contest announcements too but I don't know, it seems more right with "Contests" to me.

Re: The State of Bricks in Motion

Y'know, I've been contemplating that too.  I almost changed it once, but my thinking was that we do have announcements there, if they don't pertain to the website, but so far that has only been BAFA, which is basically a contest of sorts.  This is making less and less sense to me so I think I'll change it.

Re: The State of Bricks in Motion

Hey, just making a suggestion...
Could you perhaps center the forum headers and make them bigger like on the front page modules?

For custom titles, you or a moderator could change the title of somebody's to a different thing if they opted in. Of course, something like this would only really work for someone who has done something unique, as many new members would be more difficult (if possible at all at the beginning) to create titles for.
I love the new forum skin, it matches the design a lot, great job everyone! mini/smile

Re: The State of Bricks in Motion

Very cool skin, although on IE 7 ,I think, the modules like the PMs, Logout, user list, and stuff don't show up. Is it possible to fix this?

Re: The State of Bricks in Motion

This site has a lot of problems in various versions of IE.  That is the next priority after the directory is finished.

OK nice to know you will be working on it. mini/smile

Re: The State of Bricks in Motion

Hehe, well...Slothpaladin will be working on it, at any rate.  I can't be trusted with much more than installing and tweaking a spoiler tag extension.

Re: The State of Bricks in Motion

Hey, what's the HTML replace thingy for the spoiler tag? Like after you add "

Spoiler (click to read)

{TEXT}

" and then you add HTML for the actual thing.
