Flying using a vehicle and flying using only one's limbs are very different things.
If you consider using a vehicle flying, then Twilight has already flown by use of the balloon.

I've thought it out, and it doesn't matter to me if Twilight's transformation is permanent or not.
No matter what, DHX will still be able to make it a good show. If it's peramanent, things will be different, but it won't stop anyone from enjoying the show. Hasbro's meddling won't affect the quality of the show.

So, I believe in the cast and crew.
Especially M. A. Larson.

Not literally dead, just no longer interested in Lego or animation.

An older target audience will give them more creative freedom (i.e. less angry parents) but it might kind of lessen the innocent spirit of the show if they start talking about dating and crap (like a Disney show. I know we ship the ponies all the time but it's no fun when the animators join in.)

Not judging this movie until I see it for myself. I mean, we are no where near a judging point for how that will be.
