Sorry about the bad quality on the white expanse, I don't know what happened.
Yeah, the white expanse does look washed out. Try turning the gain down on your camera.
Like you said, the white expanse does look pretty bright. Also, when your minifig zooms in, he seems to come to a screeching halt. Try having him slide a little before coming to a stop. That way it'll look more realistic.
Other then the white background looking over exposed the logo and animation looked great! Keep up the great work.
