dingy? nope don't know what you mean, and frame rate?... I think 12fps.
I think he means small, unsufficent. Pronounced din-gee, not ding-ee (that's a small boat).
What he means is use more lamps. You need three; One over the minifig, one pointing at the minifig, and one lighting up the background.
Also, use 15 fps. Your animation will be smoother at that framerate.
