Topic: helmet sounds

how do you make it sound like the person is talking inside a helmet or over the radio?

Re: helmet sounds

An effect I have in Adobe Premier called "High Pass" I believe works very nicely for radio. mini/smile

For helmets, I suggest that you just record your lines into a bucket, or through a pan. It's best to have realism when possible.

Re: helmet sounds

Check out xxxfancypantsxxx's tutorial(on youtube) about Audacity. He tells you how he makes a clone voice(helmety sound). That might work for you.
