Here's an idea:

Let all the moderators be able to review films. I've noticed that all of the film reviewers you have right now are extremely inactive (except for the BuilderBrothers and Lechnology, who come on every once and a while).

If you were to allow the moderators with film reviewing abilities, it might increase the rate at which films are reviewed. The moderators all have very good writing habits and come online often, so why not?

You've probably thought of this already.

I think they are already allowed. I remember reading some reviews by RPhoogle and Jargon (both moderators).

No, mods cannot review films. That's because mods have not proven themselves to be good at writing reviews. RP Hoogle and Jargon can review films because they on both the Mod Squad and the Review Panel.

Yes, I was first a Review Panel member before a moderator. Also, now that I've got high-speed internet access I'll try to get through fifteen or so a week.

Just a heads-up, I'm still available to review films, even through the school term. Don't know if there's any more chance now as there was before, but I thought I'd put it out there.

With the Review Panel about to be abolished, I doubt any new members are going to be added to it.

Hey, just wondering something, but I was out of town for a long period of time and when I got back, every single film under my director's profile was in the directory, not recommended. But when I went to the Films section and then sorted it to All films, none of mine showed up! (Also, none of mine had a rating, so maybe this is just an alternative to the "This film has not yet been reviewed" page?) mini/dizzy

When I click on your films, I get the "not yet reviewed" message.

Also, your sig got mod edited, in case you didn't notice.
I think we all know which mod edited that.

Not literally dead, just no longer interested in Lego or animation.

Okay, the thing that I said before, I've figured out. YOu can still see your film's page before it's reviewed so you can edit the credits and stuff. That's cool. Cool beans.

The review panel system is more or less dead, it has proven not feasible to have a small group of volunteers try to watch and review all the films posted on this site, there are simply too many. We're working on getting the new system set up, it is not going as quickly as I had hoped but progress is being made! mini/smile
