Topic: First Attempts at Masking and Dolly Shot

Hello

I've just got into stopmotion brick filming as a hobby, I've never done any animating before so this is all new to me. Here are several clips of my first attempts at masking and a dolly shot. All of the filming for these was done on my 6yr old 5mp kodak camera. I used Paint for the masking and Movie Maker to put them all together. So I really have bottom tier gear but I'm still deciding if its worth investing money to get a more suitable camera and better software, we'll see.
It took a bit of trial and error to reduce the light flicker, I've been experimenting with the manual settings on my camera but haven't eliminated it yet. Anyway have a look and let me know what you think.

Not bad at all. It reminds me of my first experiments. You can worry about gear later - just have fun animating for now.
