Wow, that looks really good. A Ghostbusters brickfilm sounds awesome. I am officially stoked for this. 
Wow, awesome effects, the reaction was spot on, too. What program did you use?

EDIT: So was that just a pre-made effect or did you make it yourself in the program?

Well I got the original pieces of footage from various videos on youtube which I then manipulated in PowerDirector.

Nice. Is it kind of like MAGIX Movie Edit Pro 14? 'Cause I would really enjoy creating an effect like that in MAGIX (because I have it).
I laughed when I saw this, simply because it looks just like the real thing. Nice one.
