Re: What was the last movie you watched?

Re-animator.

Really good movie, but expected more zombie action. The gore scenes etc. we're awesome though.

Bride of Re-animator

Also really good, but it's so similar " Bride of Frankenstein " I'm not sure if they did this on purpose or not.

Beyond re-animator.

LOL. Best of the series, a lot of action good story, more gore, sick, awesome. I really hope they're making the sequel " House of re-animator ".

5 out of 5 Alive, bit of d*icks that fight with rats. ( I know lol )

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

The Godfather

Finally got around to seeing it, and I can see why it's cited as one of the best ever. The acting, storytelling, atmosphere, everything is done to perfection.

Hot Fuzz

Love this film. Great comedy paired up with awesome action.

The brothers bloom

pretty good movie about con artists, it always kept you guesing who the con artist was, the Japanese chick was the funniest. The movie had a crappy ending though.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

The Shawshank Redemption

Exquisite film. I loved the direction of the film; the characters are developed so beautifully, that the film never feels like it has to force an emotional response from the audience because we feel like we genuinely know them.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

The Shining

Yet another Stanley Kubrick film I'm in aw of. I also completely forgot about how incredible Jack Nicholson's acting was in this.
This film is so hilariously insane, glad I saw it again. One of my favs now.

4.5/5

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

Aguirre, the Wrath of God

Certainly quite unconventional, but still a very powerful and engrossing movie. The film itself unfolds like a descent into madness, right alongside with the rest of the characters. Klaus Kinski's performance was haunting and terrifying.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

A Bout de Souffle

This is French cinema at its best. Jean-Luc Godard demonstrates his brilliance in his first movie. I really enjoyed it, also great acting from Belmondo and innovative use of jumpcuts.

Une femme est une femme

Also a film by Godard, his 3rd to be exact. I enjoyed this one aswell. Great directing and the play with 'musical' is very well done!

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

Zach: YES!

Infurno, have you seen Les Quatres Cents Coups? I like it a lot better than A Bout de Souffle actually.

Rocky

I think I missed what made this film great. I knew it was there, it just didn't register. Not to say it wasn't a great film; it was, and I thought it deserved it's Best Film award; I just didn't understand why.

Up
This was the second time I saw it. (The other time in theaters.)
I still thoroughly love this movie. I am thinking of watching it again before I have to return the movie to the video rental place.
Awesome movie, and I love it so much. I've also noticed more things this time I watched it, like details on the characters, jokes that I didn't see (because I went to the bathroom like 3 times during the theater viewing mini/tongue ),
Stuff like that.

Certainly pretty stupid and ridiculous, but it does have its moments. mini/tongue I enjoyed myself.

The Rookie

Great.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

10,000 BC

A little bit disappointing. Perhaps it's due to my lack of attention span, but parts of it really dragged and lacked connection with the audience. Actually, the rather uniform color scheme throughout might have added to that. I am a pretty visual-centered person.
