Re: What was the last movie you watched?

It'll probably be great Filmyguy, just watch Drag me to hell and you'll be convinced of it mini/wink

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

The Day After Tomorrow
Pretty good movie, especially the first part, but since the second part it was going downwards. 3/5.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

Arsenic and Old lace
I've always been a fan of Cary Grant, and the humor in this film is so film-ish, this is probably the 7th time I've seen it. 4/5

The Nightmare Before Christmas
I've come to expect alot of Tim Burton, and in this movie he delivers it all. I found it amazing how he captured his brilliant poem into such a stunning stop-motion animated film. 4/5

The prestige
I found it an interesting movie...really good.

Raiders of the Lost Ark

Well, actually, we had to stop it in the middle and finish it today because it was a school night, but it was good so far. mini/smile

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

Collateral

A pretty good movie, I'd recommend it to anyone who doesn't mind a thriller. I'm not a huge thriller fan but this was a good'un.

One thumbs up, not quite a two-er.

Also watched Cool Runnings and Hercules (Disney) and Emperor's New Groove (Disney).... All get 2 thumbs.

...Sorry mum.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

I really, really liked Collateral. It seemed to have this gritty, realistic feel to it.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

Bad Company
Despite the reviews I actually enjoyed this movie.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

Plan 9 From Outer Space (in color)

Was boring and hilarius at the same time.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

Haha, my parents wouldn't let me watch that part for quite a while... Once I actually saw it I laughed so hard.

The Prestige

Nolan should be making more films like this instead of butchering the Batman franchise.

Darkness cannot be destroyed. It can only be channelled.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

The Crossing

about George Washington and the battle of trenton. It's amazing, though made as a TV movie by A&E.

YES

instead of butchering the Batman franchise.

DIE NOW!

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

2001: A Space Odyssey

Woah.
That was amazing. I haven't seen that movie in ages.
In my mind, that is the most realistic film having to do with space travel ever created. CGI can not touch the realism of this.
New favorite film.
Cinematography 5/5

Overall 4/5

Agreed, one of the best movies I saw in a while.

Screw you, he made two of the best Batman movies since 1989.

If you think "Batman & Robin" and all that crap is Batman, you need to rethink.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

Where the Wild Things Are

That was a great film. There were some aspects though, that I didn't like. I didn't like the flat and static Wild Thing. It being there was rather annoying. I loved the rest of it, especially the Wild things. Being a hardcore fan of Where the Wild Things Are book, this movie was good, but not as great as the book.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

(500) days of summer

Ok, I confess. The reason I went to see this movie is because Zooey Deschanel is in it. You got me.
But I was pleasantly surprised, because the movie itself is pretty good. It isn't a typical romcom (you know, like Hugh Grant etc.), instead it focuses on a different aspect, what if the girl doesn't fall in love? Which is something more realistic and something that leads (in my opinion) to a more interesting storyline. This movie was really a surprise, but I liked it a lot.
