Re: My First Blender Animation

Do you know how to make a realistic looking planet?

Re: My First Blender Animation

It would take a while, but I think so.

Re: My First Blender Animation

To get realistic bricks, you need to apply a bevel modifier. I think the tutorial goes over that... Adding a smooth modifier is only a small step. Ray mirror is always great to add as well.

Re: My First Blender Animation

Yeah, it goes over all of that in the tutorial, and I used it all for my ninja background.

Re: My First Blender Animation

Wait It says I have to add the bevel for each brick individually
is there a way where I can do all the bricks at once?

Re: My First Blender Animation

I don't think so. If the tutorial says that you can't, it's likely that it's impossible.

Just join all the bricks together. That will make it harder to add the right effect to the studs, but it works if your not using studs. Most of the beveled bricks you see in this render are joined in segments.
