I don't have a problem with the dark sky...
I have this weird thing with taking peoples' cinematography entries and cropping them and messing with the color and stuff, just playing around with the shot. Anyway, here's what I wish the shot looked like in terms of the framing - minifigure centered vertically, unnecessary stuff on the left cropped out. Oh, and don't worry about the color - I was just playing around with it. Link

I hope there are coming more entries, because, i don't want to have a 1 on 1 race ![]()
I made a complete 3D scene entry already (previous page), but you can always try.
I'll see if I can put something together.
I mashed something together but didn't like it.
Blissful is hard

It really is. I did a get a brilliant idea but that took a while of thinking, and plus I probably wont be able shoot my idea since I can't find a LEGO piece that's vital for the shot.
Oh yeah, Kim I think the sky isn't too bad when you consider snow and white glare etc. you can almost right it off, the positioning is really nice, especially considering that I know what your set actually looked like. It's just that smiley face man ![]()
Anyway, it's still a nice shot.
You gonna enter, Sythean?
yeah, posting it up in the next ten
not that happy with it but *shrugs*

I really like the colors of the second one ![]()
Thanks ![]()
I had a torch in behind and an old warm lamp at the front to try get some sunsettery happening. Had to do the shot in the dark with long exposure.
Love the first one, Sythean. Though the 'water' bothers me a tiny bit. Not much of a fan of the other one, dunno why.
Entry coming in second.
EDIT:
Great, but compared to all the other entries (which are the best in a while (not talking about mine)) it's a bit plain and boring. Some real background should make it.
That's okay Filmyguy, I hate my water too.
Nice shot. The lighting in the background is interesting, but the foreground seems a little too dark to me somehow...
Well, we're getting some good entries! I suppose judging should go on some time today... Is anyone else going to enter?
Yeah, I tought that I had some chance, until everybody made their best Entries ever. ![]()
