The movie doesn't actually deal much with Christian theology, not directly, at least. It's just a very intense and disturbing film, or so I have heard.
Rosemary's Baby
One word: Creepy. From beginning to end.
This movie was all suspense build-up that led to nothing, that's really why the ending pissed me off.
They didn't show the baby!
Cinematography: 4/5
Overall 2/5 FILMYGUY POINTS
Where the Wild Things Are
Good, but not great. The technical qualities were all good: the wild things looked very believable, and the cinematography was impressive, but I just never got the feeling that the story went anywhere, and only a couple of the wild things were properly developed (though I will say it was very affecting at a few parts). So yeah, it's like everyone else says, it's a hit and miss film. But on the whole, it's pretty good.
Up
Yeah, it only came out recently in Ireland. I enjoyed it, but I thought they could've had some sort of explanation as to where the balloons came from. I know Carl was a balloon seller, but it never shows him gathering the balloons and setting them up.
Fantastic Mr. Fox
That was one Awesomesauce movie! The attention to detail was amazing, Storyline was a bit disloyal to the book but who hasn't read this book 3 times alredy.
My favourite part was when Kristoferson had kiven Ash A (tiny) Karate lesson when he was about to save Kristoferson and they came out of that sewer and saw Bunce, Bean and Boggis waiting for them and Ash dodged all those bullets while running and opened the door to let the Rabies dog out.
Go see this movie now.

*raises hand*
Never even heard of the book till I saw the trailer a while ago. I am interested in seeing it though.
Transformers 2 Revenge of the Fallen
For see more details, you must watch it 3 times
The animation was epic, great movie !!!
District 9

Happy Feet

Judge Dredd
Terrible movie. I laughed because it was so awfully bad. I can't believe this is even rated 4,9 on IMDB. Also a shame Sylvester Stallone wanted to act in this movie. This is one of the worst movies I've ever seen.

how did you see it!? It won't come out for a few weeks?
It's out on this side of the world.
Romper Stomper
A brutal and uncompromising film. Russell Crowe is absolutely terrifying in this role.
The Dark Knight
This is certainly Heath Ledger's movie. Not really enjoyable to watch, though. Just kind of dark and harsh all the way through. That's not a bad thing, and the movie doesn't shirk from what it is, but it does keep the experience a bit one-sided.
Just got Days of Heaven, looking forward to watching it. I don't remember a whole lot about it.

That's probably in my top five favorite films. I hope you got the Criterion. It's a brilliant film, and though it's easy to do so, don't view the imagery as secondary to the story; the two are completely interwoven.
