Houdini was used in Monsters Vs Alines, Gi Joe, Terminator 4, Hulk and many more it is a realy easy to use software easyer the Skecthup and is the most powerfull. The price is a bit high for many pepeol and got my self a copy but the overall resalt is AWSOME! mini/sunnies

Re: Any one Here Use Houdini

I dont use it and I thought brickfilming was all stop motion.

Re: Any one Here Use Houdini

Not true Stud Studios
Just Look At Leo and his movies like Plant
CGI is a very useful tool
Though this is about 8000$ over my price range

Re: Any one Here Use Houdini

I know, I meant that all good films are usually stopmotion based. Apologize was not really as good as unrenewable.

Re: Any one Here Use Houdini

I was seeing if im the only brickfilmer that has it. I got a rebate from the Australian Film Corporation to pay for it.

The rebate was only about AU$40

On a mid-end (Quad Core 3.8GHZ 3GB RAM) computer it whould take about 3 min to render 1 frame, on a high-end (i7 6.7GHZ 8GB RAM) 10 Secondes at most

Re: Any one Here Use Houdini

How did you get the lego logo on there,  I mean, where did you get the 3d files for the bricks!?  I've been using the bricks from MLCAD and LeoCAD, but yours look so much nicer.  Really nice render too. mini/XD

Re: Any one Here Use Houdini

What befuddles me is that you buy a $10,000 software package, but you're too cheap to buy a real domain for your website.

Re: Any one Here Use Houdini

I agree with fib, I'm getting courious about if you really bought it LEGAL. It's darn expensive, and we didn't have seen ANYTHING from you when it comes to CGI
