Yeah there are.

Build one yourself then overclock the processor.
How do you overclock it?
Sorry I am terrible at the technics of Computers.
A 40 AUD rebate paid for a piece of software that costs between 3 and 8 grand?
Just sayin'
Also, a 6.7GHz overclock on an i7? I'm not saying it's not possible but the cooling for your rig would be ridiculous. We are talking atleast a high end water system, although probably a LN system. Crazy stuff. I'm not even sure they can reach 6.7GHz to be honest.
3.8GHz overclock on a Core2 Quad is also a bit much. More realistic is between 3 and 3.6 if I recall correctly.
My couple of cents there.

I've read that someones overclocked to 7.1 lol
I once overclocked my Quad Core to about 4GHz. I needed 5 ice bags, an airco, a couple of vents and I even had some iceream on the damned thing.

Nice!
It depends on the starting clockspeeds as well, along with what cooling solution you employ. I'd like to think my figures were fairly average, but I can't really comment. I'm not really much of an overclocker. I prefer slower and more stable, without the need for a full water loop in my case.

Folks, this is the same attention-seeker who claimed to have written his own OS, claimed to have ordered enough LEGO to build a minifig-scale Empire State Building, and posted films of other members on his own website without securing the proper permissions.
Let's just say Mr. Simpsonking hasn't exactly set the precedent of being a trustworthy individual.
EDIT: That said, the thread has seemingly turned into a meaningful discussion about computer modification, so maybe some good will come of it after all...

well i think its possible to get an i7 to 6.7GHz, but only with liquid nitrogen, not so economical for video editing ![]()
Noodle is right, I think he's just lying again.
No, you've decided to stop bull$&*%ting and have come up with this weak excuse so we all forgive you just like *that*.

lol!
Hi every one, someone has been using my account and I think I know who. I never posted this topic and I don’t have Houdini the best I can afford is Bleeder which is free. I have change my password hoping this will never happen aging.
That's weird. Why would someone hack a person's account to talk about brickfilming and not to spam?
Did you post in my topic? Because I need to know if I should trust the info in that post or not.
