I don't get it. Am I missing something here? Why would you associate The Builder with Bob The Builder?

Just sounds like it(you know, just add "Bob" to the beginning). Sorry, it was not my intention to offend or sound stupid, which I probably did both(don't answer that last one).

I'd really discourage sending me your ideas like that - it eliminates any element of surprise, but also it sort of defeats the purpose of the contest - to be creative.  If the answer is yes, "is this creative and original?" isn't a question you should need to ask.

If you're going to ask an individual member something, send them a PM. It's much better than filling up important threads with unnecessary posts.

You guy's are right, sorry, I'm just new to all of this, both the Contests and talking online.

The results will be announced live...but there probably won't be a live premiere like STAR.  We might do a show of some of the finalists or something, but premiering every entry like we did for STAR probably won't be feasible.  It was difficult to pull off with STAR, ended up being about 4 hours long, and I expect we'll be getting more entries this time around.

I do this only once in a while, and today's the day.

Today I plan to script for hours on end. It's not fun when you have to basically type a 20-something film script. Yeesh.

should i say my idea so that no one can copy it. or keep it to my self and take a chance to see if anyone does copy it

If it's an idea obvious enough that multiple people come up with it that might not help.  Still though we'd take into consideration the fact that people really could not have copied each other without any knowledge of the other person's entry.

yeah, i prefer not to share any ideas that come to me, because no matter how hard you try not to, you will be influenced by other peoples ideas as you write your own script so i believe that if you post your idea it will be more likely that your idea will be copied (unintentionally hopefully) because (if it is a good idea) it will (unintentionally) affect what others will write.
