Topic: Good Webcam Other than the QCP9K?
Yeah, self-titled. I want a fairly decent web cam other than the QCP9000
Any suggestions? Also a link to a video with that cam would be appreciated. ![]()

Boom! -
Manual Focus
16MP
And pure awesomeness.
I'm not in the US.
And has it ever actually been used in a brickfilm? I like seeing samples of footage rather than just jumping to the thing with the biggest MP ![]()
And howabout the quickcam pro 5000, is that any good? or even better than the 4000? (I'm guessing it is...)

SmallTime uses the 5000, ask him.
Uhhhh, where do I find him?
PM him. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=baXzEErz annel_page
I think I'll get the Logitech E3500 or Logitech S7500...
Hmmmm... I dont know which one... apparently they are 'replacements' for the 5000 so I'm guessing they are better...? Or do ya reckon I should try and find a 5000?
EDIT: I might try and find them in a store near me and see if I can 'trial' it and then return it...
But.. why exacly aren't you going to buy a QC9000? It's worth the money... and if you don't have it, JUST WAIT. ![]()
My Mum doesnt want me to spend that much on a webcam... besides... neither do I really...
Well if you want manual focus, the 5000 unfortunately has to go under some modification. I have the 5000(using the 9000 though), can't exactly remember every little detail but you have to take the rim off, open it up and try to scrape some glue off, so you can turn the focuser(the proper word escapes me) inside. I think there's some good tutorials around, but in the long run you'll be better off purchasing a 9000 for a little more.
Sorry if I explained that poorly, somebody else will probably explain it clearer
.

is €90 ''much''? Jeez, a big Lego set is more expensive.
Agreed with Hazzat/Red Beard.

Yes but theres such thing as "Saving for a good Webcam".
Oh Really?
if ive learned anything from looking for a mac compatible webcam, ive learned that u gotta start small (quickam 4000) and work your way up.
use a not-so-good webcam and when u get serious about filming, then save up for a good camera.
