The plot thickens in the Abduction series with Abduction 4, my entry to BRAWL 2009. It's significantly longer than the first three films since I had a week to make it, and it's also the first film I've attempted scoring.

Re: BRAWL: Abduction 4

I like how you're creating an ongoing story from episode to episode, that makes it fun even if it does require you to watch the other episodes as well.  The technical work was fantastic as always, the shot of the rocketship was nice.  I liked plot the twist in this episode.

Sort of a small detail but I like the stylish titles in these videos, in fact they're one of my favorite parts.

The inventor and the guy in the fedora sounded rather similar, though.

Re: BRAWL: Abduction 4

Another great episode from you Nick! I think this is the best one of the series.
Really good job on the effects and the animation. I also really liked the voice acting in this one!

Re: BRAWL: Abduction 4

Wow, that was amazing. The animation, the camera quality, the lighting, everything. I especially liked the sets.
Awesome job, Nick. mini/smile

Re: BRAWL: Abduction 4

I really like the plotline you based all of these around Nick! It's a good movie, and it always keeps you on the edge of your seat, and you don't know what will happen. 10/10 man.

Re: BRAWL: Abduction 4

Nice movie. The effects were awesome.

Re: BRAWL: Abduction 4

I'm going to be honest.
I wasn't terribly impressed with Abduction 1, 2 and 3.
The effects and visuals were amazing, but the voices and story were . . . not.
I was, however, pleased with your latest addition. The voices were done well, and the storywriting showed much improvement.
Looking forward to seeing more from you!

Re: BRAWL: Abduction 4

Wow, Nick, I really enjoyed that. In my opinion the best addition to the series.

Re: BRAWL: Abduction 4

Thanks for the comments, everyone, and I'm glad to hear most of you like it better than the other ones. mini/smile I guess the main reason it's better is because I had more time to work on the story. For instance, the ending was going to be radically different for a long time, and on the last day of filming I came up with what it is now. In THAC, there just isn't time for that kind of thing. Also, if I had made this one for THAC, it would be a two-minute film with roughly the same things happening... a lot faster.
