It was kinda cute, but nothing I'd see in theatres. Saw it on Payperview, as my brother and mom were watching it with me

Doesn't that have stormtroopers in it? mini/confused

+1 for Stormtroopers.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

It has two guys dressed up as stormtroopers who keep on appearing. As for the movie it's self, I didn't really think it was anything special.

Pink Panther
The original film from the 1960's. The opening cartoon is brilliant.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

Life is Beautiful

What a wonderful film. I really liked how it portrayed the horrors of the holocaust without having to show all of the details like in Schindler's List (which is a wonderful film as well). If you haven't seen this movie, do so now.

Did you see that very recently? I doubt that would be in IMAX theaters still. But idk, could be still in there because their waiting for The Final Destination to come out.
Anyway, movie I saw recently...

Sense & Sensibility

Wow, chickflick. I thought it was ok, the acting was really good by Kate Winslet, Alan Rickman(he's always awesome in everything), and Emma Thompson.
But yeah, if it wasn't boring, it was either intense(I can only recall one scene that was though) or it was dramatic. bleh

Finally saw it and loved it! Very clever and intriguing throughout. I can't believe they got Kevin Spacy to sit in that box for all that time though!

Exactly what I though mini/smile The soundtrack swept me away.

Im lucky in that I live relatively close to the National Media Museum in Bradford - now a "UNESCO City of Film," so they show lots of films there. Like arty, strange crappy films as well as good ones. It was a small, maybe 50 seater cinema that I saw it in.

G.I. Joe

This will contain spoilers, you are warned.

Bad, it didn't bore me but just.. bad... I also don't know why Brendan Fraser is in it for 30 seconds, since he's a succesfull actor and usually gets big roles mini/confused

Pros: -Cool action scenes and special fx.
        - Hot Chicks
        - Hot chiks fight eachother
        -  The eifeltower gets blown up
-Imotep from the movie " The Mummy " (remake)
        -  Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje (  Also From the mummy 2 )
        - Kid from Tropic Thunder

Cons: -SO Predictable
          - Incredibly amount of clichés
          - Most of the jokes weren't funny
          -  Dum one liners
          - Hot chciks only fight each other once.
          -  The virtually being on another place was ridiculous, so were the glasses that turned black and so were the getting                                                images from the brain... ?
          - Story was kinda...
          - Many other things
          - A lot of resemblences to Star Wars after an hour opf the movie, like the fight scene in the ships at the end etc. and rex IS darth vader
          - Rex couldn't possibly survive the explosion
          - Underwater station thing is stupid
          - There will be a sequel
          -.........................................
          - Facemorpher technology, bad guy changes into the president= CLICHE

Oh and guess when Cobra rises... THE END OF THE MOVIE = sequel

Note that I never read any comics of G.I. Joe

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

You act like this was supposed to be a serious movie. It's based on a Saturday morning cartoon from the 80s that's based on some toys.
Expecting this movie to be good would be like expecting a Captain Planet or Power Rangers movie to be good.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

Enemy at the Gates

A pretty cool looking film. I really wanted the cinematography to be a lot better, but despite from a few cool shots sprinkled throughout, it really wasn't very special. But what the film lacked in visuals made up for it in both the story and acting. Ed Harris did such a good job as the villain. The first five minutes of his screen time he doesn't say one word. His stage presence is truly amazing. Jude Law was good as well. Pretty good film.

Like I said I NEVER read the comics nor did I see the cartoons, this is my opinion about the movie on its own and I didn't know what too expect of it this is my opinion about it.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

Rain Man
Great movie, great acting. Especially Dustin Hoffman did a great job. 9/10.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince

Still (maybe even more) intense second time around. Still some things that I disagree with that I think they could of changed or just have left alone (if you know what I mean), but overall very good Harry Potter movie.

District] 9

Very well written movie. An also very well acted by the main actor. The CGI was noticeable, but not so much that it bothered me.
Awesome action too, very realistic. Good for the first rated R movie for me to see in theaters.

The only part that really made me jump was

Spoiler (click to read)

the part where they took off the bandages and revealed the alien hand.

I'm glad Hollywood allowed something original, finally. It's been a while.:P
