Does anyone have the same problem, when you upload a video to youtube, youtube makes it darker ? I had some parts where it had dark lightning, but youtube made it too dark 
I have the same problem as well.
Use VirtualDub Plugin Contrast Gamma thingy and raise the light levels shown is Smeagols' HD tutorial.

Has anyone else uploaded videos recently and had the last few seconds to minutes cut off of their videos? I'm not talking of, like, two seconds or one or two minutes. I'm meaning several minutes.

Someone on Brickfilms has been having a problem similar to that, so I don't think you're the only one.

Well, if I've learned one thing from being on YouTube, it's that everyone with good- wait....GREAT videos will become popular one day no matter what.
Then others (such as myself) get lucky haha

Well I mean in matters of subscribers hehe
I find that it can, a lot of the time, be someone who isn't technically good at all, but has something with Star Wars and it gets millions of views.
Thats why I cannot get millions of views, I happen to strongly dislike star wars. Except for the furry guys in the last episode, I had to hug those!
