YouTube Announces an Expansion to the Profit-sharing Program.
From what I'm reading, I don't think it'll affect your eligibility in applying for the Partnership program, but if you upload a particular video that becomes popular, YouTube will now offer to make that a Partner Video and share ad revenue with you.
I dunno, back when he was Manic4000, he was known to do stuff like this (including faking his own death once). I still have my doubts.
If this is authentic, then my condolences to his loved ones.

Yes, I know I'm not a partner, I think it has something to do with putting an ad on my video for the song I used. Still, it's a pretty sight to me.
