Lock and load
Kind of like a small clip that tells alot. I am a bit proud because this is the first film I made using gimp to creat a gravity effect.
Well, there is a couple things wrong.
First, the voices are both practically the same, and it's pretty bad acting.
The animation is a bit slow, you might want to speed it up.
There was no blood, which really bothered me when the other guy, not Darius, got shot. I don't think a person would fall down after one much, only just to stay there to get shot either.
There was some light flicker, and I didnt really like the lighting.
I liked the music though. Where did you get it? Or did you make it?
I liked the flip, but what bothered me again is when he turned around. Why did he?
Overall, its an alright movie. I might be getting picky, but It's just so you can improve. I'm still working on my skills, and I've been making stop motions for over a year now.
Personally, I dont think this should be put into the releases section of the forum, but thats just my opinion.
Try to fix the light flicker, and speed up the animation (though the animation you did use would have been awesome slow-mo).
Then, work on the voice acting. (Or, get other s to do it for you.)
Okay, this was a rough Idea, I actually decided yesterday that I wanted to do it in skintone, yellow was a bit out of place. thanks!

There is just one thing. I only have gimp for special effects, where do I get blood?
Or just use clay.
Do you know how to draw realistic blood in gimp and make it appear to form a puddle?

Technically it wasn't bad. Voices were okay, and the animation was pretty good. The framerate did seem to be quite low though; you might want to raise that so that your film will look like moving pictures, instead of a slide show. On top of that the "refocus" effect was a bit overdone. It looks cool when it's used once or twice, but if you start doing it almost every shot, people will tend to become annoyed.
Overall it was pretty good, although it was more of a "test" than a proper film I suppose.

Ummm, well, that was actually because I guess the two characters were too far away because one or the other was really blurry.
