The English Patient
How in the world is it possible that Ralph Fiennes doesn't even have 1 Oscar? He's such a good actor. Anyway great movie and well acted.
Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince
One more time, amazing effects at opening.
I actually loved the opening score of that movie, along with the effects (not that wiggling bridge piece of crap though).
Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince
OMG AMAZING EFFECTS AT THE OP--... Nah, I think this movie is overrated just like LOTR. Yesterday I went with some friends to the cinema and we were gonna watch Public Enemies but we weren't 16 yet so they didn't let us in... So that's why we saw Harry Potter. I didn't watch the other Harry Potter movies so I had no idea what the story was about, but apart of the story which I can't judge I think the movie is just overrated. Maybe I'll watch the other Harry Potter movies sometime and I might understand why so many people love these movies.
The first three Harry Potter movies, all in a row. ![]()
It's fun to watch the actors grow up throughout the series. They definitely improve. The films as a whole also get better, although that's partly due to the style of each of the three books - the later ones having plots that are easier to translate into film.

The last movie I watched was: Star Wars VI.
Ponyo
Amazing. Magical and breathtaking. I'm not a big fan of anime, I liked Spirited Away though, so I went to the theatre and saw this.
Xpictures, are you from Belgium ? ![]()
_______
Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery
Had Good jokes, Austion Powers = Great and lovable character, although story is kinda messy
3 and a half Shags
Austin Powers 2: The Spy Who Shagged Me
Has shaggelishes jokes, although the story gets REALLY messy here, and they make a pathethic attempt to make it right. This movie makes more sense when your a kid.
3 bad 60's teeth
Star Wars: A New Hope
Amazing, groundbreaking.... I played a bit of Lego Star wars II today and I must say, they really took some detailed stuff from the movie into the game, just fantastic.
5 out of 5 bad edited space ships
Now to get my hands on a good copy of Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back ![]()
Ponyo
Despite the fact that this film was directed by the famous Hayao Miyazaki, I was disappointed with this particular film, as the movie is aimed at a much younger audience than I expected it would be. The film is basically the same as The Little Mermaid except without a villian. In fact, the whole plot is not very thought out, even for a kid movie.
Basically, half of the film is about finding the little boy's mom who turns out to be in a gigantic bubble under the water.
On another note, the characters didn't have much detail on themselves (particularly their faces) like most Japanese manga would. On the Pros side though, the painted backgrounds and scenery were very colorful and beautiful and the score wasn't half bad.
Overall, I was very disappointed in Miyazaki's latest installment as even his first film My Neighbor Totoro was aimed at a young audience and it had a better plot and story than this one did.

Inglourious !@#$%^&*
Just don't tell anyone I'm underage okay?
It was everything I expected and more. Classic Tarantino! Briliant dialogue, violence... just brilliant! Christoph Waltz was fantastic, Brad Pitt hillarious at parts and Eli Roth not in it that much
. Oh well, still an amazing movie!

Well, I don't think it's Miyazaki's fault; if Disney hadn't plastered their name all over it I would have been fine with it.
But I digress.
The Dark Knight
This film still amazes me after watching it for the sixth time. Heath Ledger's performace
as the Joker is spectacular. 10/10.
Saw
I really liked the suspense and the fact that it wasn't just a gore splatterfest(I've been told the other films are) and had a good plot. I loved the music especially the music at the last moment.
I was kinda annoyed by the sped up flashback parts of the traps and at the end I really wanted Adam to live.

I feel the exact same way.
Except... the opposite.

Who says he is dead ? neither has there been a Doctor Gordon body
Apocalypse Now Redux
Some of the added scenes weren't entirely necessary (like the dinner scene with the French people), but it's still a fantastic and powerful movie.

yeah, hello zepp is one of the coolest theme song I've heard.

Has anyone seen District 9 yet?
Thanks to the new Blu-Ray player and NetFlix plan we got, we have a library of over 12,000 films to chose from. As of right now, we have 77 films on our queue. So, in reverse order, the films I have seen over the past two-three days have been:
The Iron Giant
Enchanted
Spaceballs
Who Framed Roger Rabbit
The first and the last are definitely the best out of those four films. Spaceballs is good for the lulz, but not much more than that. Enchanted was okay, I guess, but I wasn't really impressed at all. We also started watching Hancock, but the language in that film was too much for us; also, we've got a load of Hitchcock films on this list that I am dying to watch, plus the odd other movie. I wish I could do a better review for The Iron Giant and Who Framed Roger Rabbit, which are both very good films that anyone interested in animation should watch, but I am very bad at reviewing films like that, plus my sister is impatiently waiting for me to finish writing this so we can watch Vantage Point.
