No no no, STAR will not be coming back.
I think for the next contest the mods should come up with some ideas and then we vote for which one we would like to do.
Usually it's been the other way around; people have submitted ideas and mods have picked one out.
Will we have STAR again next year? I would enter. I didn't this year because I have been busy with things.
Every year is something else. HAT, STAR, FIG, FAR, CAP, IDEA, etc...
CAP wasn't one of the annual contests.
When will the results be posted?
Hopefully within two weeks. However I'm still waiting on responses from some of the people I've invited to judge.
The results for the STAR Contest will be announced this coming weekend, on Saturday, August 15th, at 8 PM UTC.

Due to the large quantity and length of entries, we have decided on a judging system in which we will be naming and ranking the top ten entries to the STAR contest as determined by the judges.

I'm ok because it's 9:00pm for me but Smeagol I think you need to change the times for live events each time to make it more fair on other members.
I'm not sure what could be a more equitable time. Most BiM users are in the US or Canada, and of Europeans and Australians we have more Europeans. If we had events take place later in the day they'd be very late for people in parts of Europe. I'm open to suggestions for future event times.
