As far as TV shows go, I love Curb Your Enthusiasm, and I enjoy The Simpsons and Pingu. Sesame Street also has comic value. Right now, I'm getting into Arrested Development and liking it a lot.
On the subject of Lost: I don't think anybody should be deceiving themselves into thinking that it isn't corny as hell on a certain level. However, I do enjoy it a lot, just for the extended mysteriousness surrounding it and the solid acting and production values.
Hmmm... where to start ?
Batman, Batman Begins, Dancer In The Dark, Psycho, Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs, Halloween, Toy Story, Toy Story 2, Wall-E, The Prestige, Desperado, From Dusk Till Dawn, American Historie X, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (original one), Star Wars ep 4 - 6(but 5 is the best), Dumb And Dumber, Ace Ventura, The Mask, Eternal Sunshine Of a Spotless Mind, Crash, Magnolia, Slumdog Millionaire, Zodiac, Hot Fuzz, Loft,
