Re: Bricks In Motion LIVE: STAR Premiere Film Festival
Hey, Smeagol. Have a request. Can my film be uploaded last at the premiere? Or at least close to the end of the showings?

I understand how hard it is to organise a live worldwide event. Much like the THAC, there'll always be countries that draw the short end simply because as far as time zones go, they're in the minority.
Why, are you going to be running a little late? If it's a scheduling issue, yeah, I could try to put your entry near the end.
Nah, just wondering if you could do that for me, I think I'll be good on time (although who knows).
Hey Smeagol, can I put a Meet Larry teaser in it for the unrelated trailer thing? I can finish it by Saturday.
Maybe something like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oWWRF80gfOU
!@#$!! I don't have any sound for my STAR, dammit! Filmyguy obviously can't do my lines, because in four days it'll be too late!!
This is an awesome idea! I will definitely try to make time for this. However, I was planning to spend this weekend animating a different video that I need to finish by next week. Now even my hobby is cutting into the time for my hobby. Decisions, decisions...

I'm sooooo sorry, it's really crazy for me to do anything right now. But there is a bit of voice work to do in my film which I have to record, I might be able to record your lines too. Not sure if you sent me your script btw.
ALSO: I'm proud to announce that I think I am completely finished with filming. All together I've animated about 90 shots in two weeks.
Thanx! Although I doubt you'll be able to. When the dead line comes, you'll probably won't be near having them done, so I'll record a little bit of stuff and try to convince smeagol to upload it anyways, but y'know, whatever.
Damn!!!!!! I'm going to miss it!!! NOOOOOOOOOO!!!! Can someone PLEASE record it or something!!!:(
If I cant show then can I just go ahead ans post my film on YouTube but not on this site?
You can't post it publicly anywhere until after the premiere, no.
To clear up any time zone confusion, here's a countdown to the premiere.
I'm having my B-day Party on the 26th. Sounds really awesome, this is great birthday present. I'll definitely be there.
Happy Birthday!!
so the movies are being judged at the moment
The STAR Premiere will begin at 8 PM GMT, on Sunday, July 26.
Approximately 30 minutes before the start of the premiere, I will post a link in this thread and on the front page to the location where the premiere will be held. It will be linked with a mibbit IRC chat so users and discuss the films as the festival progresses.
Because the total running time of entries to this contest was longer than anticipated, we have decided to divide the premiere into three segments with short breaks in between.
The program will be as follows, with some discussion time between films.
=====Part One=====
The premiere will open with trailers for upcoming films by Spugesdu, Daragh, NXTManiac, Nick Durron, and Sméagol.
