This was one of the easier THACs I've done, I actually knocked out the majority of the animation less than 12 hours into the contest.

Much of this film draws inspiration from Omnomnom, so special thanks/apologies to KG.

Re: THAC 6: Rock Monster

You never dissapoints! I gotta get me those power miners sets...

Re: THAC 6: Rock Monster

That was quite funny.

Re: THAC 6: Rock Monster

Always a pleasure to watch your films. Well done, with great use of facial expressions. I wasnt aware that the powerminers line came with two different faces like that. Fabulous animation as usual, and quite humorous also. Nice attention to detail, along with effective FX.

Looking to see it do well in THAC! mini/mrgreen

Re: THAC 6: Rock Monster

It was good but it did remind me of KG's recent film OM NOM NOM.

Re: THAC 6: Rock Monster

It reminded me a bit too much of Omnomnom, but I still enjoyed it. Very nice effects and a great use of the miner sets.

Re: THAC 6: Rock Monster

It did feel like OMNOMNOM 2.0, but it was well done for what it was.  I loved the sound effects for the creature.

Re: THAC 6: Rock Monster

I really liked how you went for a much simpler route, instead of having a filmthat tried to fit too much in.

Re: THAC 6: Rock Monster

Although I enjoyed it, I seriously can't understand how it fits the theme.

Eh, I must agree with most of the folks here, too much like KG's.

... new.... new death?

Re: THAC 6: Rock Monster

A new energy source from the diamonds?

It did feel like Omnomnom a lot.

Re: THAC 6: Rock Monster

This is actually the first film from you that I didn't enjoy that much. It felt too much as KG's and I didn't find it to be very funny.

Re: THAC 6: Rock Monster

It had good qualities, but felt way too much like Omnomnom.

Re: THAC 6: Rock Monster

Yeah, the similarity thing was what I was mostly afraid of. I really wanted to make a film with the Power Miners set, but unfortunately, I couldn't think of an idea outside of the man-confronts-monster idea. Ah well, at least I got a Power Miners film out of my system, hopefully my next films are more original.

The theme was I guess new species for the Rock Monster, or the man discovers a new type of gem (the man closely scrutinizes both, so I guess you can take your pick). Discovery in itself implies finding something new, so I guess that also qualifies. And Riley, that was just a joke, considering how the monster used it.

Re: THAC 6: Rock Monster

It made me chuckle.

Plus, the animation was infuriatingly smooth and awesome as usual. Good job.
