No, I actually did each frame with him spinning so that I could make his arms go up, etc.
AND if you look closely, you'll see that he is different in each frame.

The key thing when animating a spin is to not just have the spinner doing the same frames over and over again. For example, you don't just want him facing one way

You have to add a few intermediate frames
