Re: BiM 2009: STAR [CLOSED]
I've finished the script and have most voice actors but I still need a few.

I can't enter.
I'm at a standstill. No voice actors, a 3/4 finished script, no sets,
no music.Geez
If you need a voice actor, I'm open for business.
Err...why not?
My parents suddenly told me we are going to Canada in June, so I will not be able to animate as June is my only time to be able to animate for this contest.
I considered entering this for a few hours. I was going to base it around the concept of someone dividing by zero on a calculator. Then I discovered that a brickfilm using that exact same idea had already been made... Oh well. moving on...:|
...someone dividing by zero on a calculator.
And then there's a huge earthquake and the HOTEL sign is falling down and stuff ![]()
well my movie is coming along kinda slow but its coming, i have all my voice actors set up (that is if they come through) i have the script completed and sent out to voice actors, and i have some of my sets built, about one second of footage, and i havent had my studio with me for the past week to animate :S ( i've been at grandparents) i hope to get a lot of animating done in june but june is kinda busy for me. i guess i will just have to take advantage of every opportunity i have to animate, cuz i really want to get my movie done in time for this!!

hi i just joined to day and i want to enter a video. im just a bit unsure on how you enter it to the compertition and how they get the prizes to you if you win as i didnt have to put my house address in ![]()
If you win you would have to give Smeagol your address so he can send you the prize.
When you have finished your entry, you need to upload it somewhere like mediafire, then you need to PM smeagol using the PM button, and you need to give him a link to your film that you uploaded to mediafire.
To submit your film, send a private message in the BiM forums to username “STAR,” including your name and a link to download the entry. We will accept .avi, .mov, and .wmv formats, please include a version of the video that is 30 megabytes or less, though higher quality versions may be included as well.
Entries may not be made public before the deadline, so YouTube, Vimeo, and other such video websites will not be a good place to upload your film. We recommend uploading your film via a .zip archive to either your own hosting or a file hosting site such as MediaFire. (Here are some other free file hosting sites) Submissions may have been submitted to other contests or premiered for live audiences as long as they have not appeared for a public audience on the Internet.
ok thanks for that

Do films for contests like these usually include a "Made for BrickInMotion.com's S.T.A.R. Contest" somewhere in the title sequence or end credits? Just curious.
