Re: Works-in-Progress Post and Critique

I think it's too dark. Could you post a few pictures with different light settings so we can compare them. mini/smile
Also, where is it suposed to take place? A jungle? I can see 3 or 4 trees, but that's it. mini/sad

Re: Works-in-Progress Post and Critique

We need context here, what are you going for? Do you need to see anyones features or anything specifically, I think the 2nd one is a bit too bright now as I don't like how you can see the blue in the background.

Re: Works-in-Progress Post and Critique

The second one was for micky.brick.eyes I'm going for a dark context. I lit the characters more than I lit the set to try and get a mysterious feel but letting the viewer know what is going on feel but they've came out almost equally lit.

Re: Works-in-Progress Post and Critique

it's wonderfull, but i hope it doesn't flicker when you're animating it

Re: Works-in-Progress Post and Critique

Yes, flickery bulbs can be a nightmare - especially those that you don't notice until you start animating.

It looks pretty good, but good luck with fitting your camera in such a small set. mini/wink

Do the images automatically resize to fit the width now?

Re: Works-in-Progress Post and Critique

I think so, Riley. Pretty nice shot.

Re: Works-in-Progress Post and Critique

'legos'? Pah, I spit on such pathetic words.

And Sméagol... Wow. Though the second, smaller lens flare looks out of place somewhat, it works.

Cool shot, Smeagol. Can't wait to see the final film.
