Re: What was the last movie you watched?

Fighting

the fight scenes were O.K. but the shaking camera pissed me off. Plus it gets really boring towards the end.

Actually I thought it was pretty good.

Beware, that movie followed the original story worse then the Eragon monstrosity. And a sword wielding mouse? C'mon mini/madhead

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

Hmm? The original story contained a sword wielding mouse, did it not?  mini/confused

Umm... yeah, it did. I don't know what Lamplight's problem with that is...

HOMBRE

Paul Newman was awesome of course, but I didn't like the ending, I felt the film as a whole was lacking.
I like westerns a lot though so that made it better.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

Independance Day I saw an extremely large amount of similarities between this film and Transformers.  Not only the story, but some of the scenes were eerily similar (scientists revealing alien spacecraft to soldier, president, and person with inside info) which I found interesting.  Some of the acting was good, some of it wasn't.  I'm VERY impressed with the visuals, considering the time it was made.  I think it's a pretty impressive film even by today's standards.  No CGI=win.

I used to love Reepicheep. I think he was my favorite character of all the books.

Prince Caspian
I hate Disney now. mini/madhead
They totally added so much from the original book, I'm mad. They totally made it so Susan and Caspian were in love, even though THEY WERE NOT in the original book. I'm mad. Very mad.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

I have hated Disney for quite a while now. Every time I see a poster for another "Air Buddies" movie I cringe. I mean they're worse than Stallone!

As a film-maker, I'm fairly sympathetic towards changing the plot lines to make a story convert to the screen better, but I do agree that some of the changes were unnecessary.

I saw Mad Max 1, 2 and 3 today. I thought it was pretty good, but the ending could have been better in all the movies, it seemed a bit rushed IMO.

Wallace And Gromit: The Curse of the Ware Rabbit
AWESOME!!! I watched it when I was littler, but now it looks so much cooler when I understand the animation. Awesome!

E.T.

I approve.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

The Wallace and Gromit movie only came out like 2/3 years ago, didn't it?

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

It's still good though, no matter how old it is. I almost watched the pirated Wolverine the other day, but I stood firm.
