Eh, not terrible, but definitely nothing spectacular. Easily the weakest of the three (even the quality of the special effects took a bit of a drop), but it was still moderately entertaining. The dancing scenes were by far the best parts.

Haha, I was a friend's house last summer when his mom and sister were watching it, and we spent the whole time heckling it.

Smokin' Aces
Awesome movie, even better ensemble (with 3 actors from the greatest show EVER. Which show you ask? How dare you! Lost of course). Eh, anyway, this movie never grows old, love the plot twists and the action scenes were just awesome.

It was a great movie, good plot, good acting, it would've been more enjoyable to watch if everyone in the theater stopped laughing every time something dramatic happened.

Ugh, I hate it when other people are laughing or clapping too much lol. Well, even if they only laugh or clap once I get annoyed. mini/tongue

Matewan

Gorgeously sooty cinematography and very nice acting (David Strathairn, Chris Cooper, and a really young Will Oldham). My main gripe was the sort of cardboard portrayal of the antagonists, even if I completely agree with the sentiments expressed in the film.

This movie bugs me because the basic idea was stolen from one of my favorite TV shows when I was growing up.

DOUBLE POST! Because it's about something completely different...

Just finished No Country For Old Men
Eh it was  decent. I think the only thing I really liked about it was Tommy Lee Jones. Oh, and some of the cinematography was pretty.

Don't tell me you didn't like the ending... mini/madhead

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

Not exactly me, but a friend where I watched it. He said it came with the new Blu-Ray player he'd ordered. It was probably not the special edition- but the image quality was brilliant... a great film.

Transformers

I can't believe I waited until almost 2 years after it came out to see this. Awesome movie, with the most amazing special effects I've ever seen in a film. I wish the Optimus Prime-Megatron fight could have been a bit longer, but all the other action during that scene made up for it. I'm going to make sure I see the sequel when it comes out, which hopefully will be good.

lol, saw that with my friend last Friday. That was his first time seeing it, I don't think he liked it too incredibly much. I've seen it three times so far. I'm seeing the next one theaters definitely.

High Fidelity

Jack Black at his best.
Great movie, the acting was great also. I loved the editing of the film most of all though.
