Yeah...
I liked the old ones. They were pretty cool until the Piraka line. That killed it. I also think bringing Makuta back was a mistake.

I have him! Although he's destroyed now
.
The old bionicles were rather awesome, but I kinda got bored with them. Anyway, who wants bionicles when you can have SLIZERS!
I have like every bionicle ever made until the Bohrak Kal. Then I have only a few of the other series. I loved the old bionicles. I especially liked the original Toa Nuva and the original Bohrok.

I was at a London-Drugs, and they had all of the Metru-Nui guys, in a box, for TEN bucks!!!!!
they really need to bring back the old bionicles because almost everybody likes them better that the new ones, there too complicated and there story isn't as interesting/creepy/different/awesome/cool/something that pulls you in.

Aaah, old Bionicle. That was some of my favorite Lego for a long time. I only got into the first series, and maybe two from the one after that...
Makes me sad to see these new, crappy ones. They're no longer original or fun.
The Metru Nui sets, up until the Hordika, were the best, in my opinion. I have the red, green, and brown Toa Metru (so I could make the cool combo thing, which I miss). The movie was pretty bad, though.
I remember my mom signing me up for the bionicle comic in first grade. My favorite parts were the huge tube things thecharacters came to the planet in. It was like mysterious how they assembled themselves after landing in those tubes. Does anyone know what time frame this was set in?
Yeah, the oldies were the best. That new one Vorox is complete pants. And Tarix just looks like a freak with a life support system.
bionicle is getting in the same fix as disney, their running out of ideas!;)
No, I think they could come up with more original ideas. They just don't want to.
Wow i remember when my brother got the tahu and i thought he was soooo cool. and i stopped following it too at paraka or what ever but i do have EVERY single comic up to the paraka plus a autographed special edition of i think the first paraka one or something like that i can't find them all though....
Ahh, bionicle, memories of childood. SNAP IN THE SLOT, DAMMIT!

I LOVED the old bionicle sets. when I was about five I collected ALL of the toa and the toa nuva. I thought it was still awsome untill the Piraka. Now they've gone WAY too far, with confusing stories, they're running out of names, and they have WAY too many sets to buy all of them on a small buget like mine.
I have a question about the story.
Is it over? Now that Mata Nui has woken, are the Toa done?
Mata Nui was awakened, but Makuta switched bodies with him, and now rules the universe. Go to bioniclestory.com and read 'Reign of Shadows'. It'll explain all.
If anyone's interested, someone's making a full-length CGI Bionicle movie called 'Quest of the Toa'. It's based on the original plotline, and looks pretty awesome. I'll put in some links.

Holy cow. He's still working on that movie? That's dedication.
Well, LittleBrick, he actually cancelled it two years ago, and then restarted the project in January. But yeah, he is dedicated.
