Not bad!
The sets and lighting were all well done, although the digital zoom on the opening shot was annoying and fast.
While the majority of the film does well, I feel like the hand at the end undermines the "ruined life" theme of the rest of the film. Some could take that to mean that you can mess it all up and always somebody will give you a second chance so don't worry about it.
The flashback montage was well made, with great sets and visuals that told the story well.
Thanks for the feedback Shelby! I usually would have made an in-camera zoom, but you know, time constraints. The hand at the end was to kind of make the contest theme two-fold. He wasted his opportunity early in life, and he now has another opportunity to fix his life.
