I didn't see it yet, but I will soon. I wanted to do a Chuck Norris short myself.
i quite liked the lighting, and i also liked the animation of the bed cover being pulled. that was very elegant. however i couldn't see it that well ,, maybe some diffused lighting in the foreground (just a little more) would do u good. also i didn't understand the joke
The joke was
an inversion of people who keep a gun under their pillow when they sleep.

Yes: that is a "gold stud" icon. It represents a "staff pick", which means that one of the admins recommends viewing the brickfilm. This is a new feature, only a few months old, so only the newest brickfilms so far have it.
