I played a game of CS:GO today and some !@#$% set his name as a main spoiler from the new Star Wars movie. RIP.

Dude, I am beyond done with these guys who spoil the plot twists from Star Wars a la "the ending of Fallout 4" style.

What is CS:GO?

Counter Strike: Global Offensive. It's a videogame.

Re: Café Corner

Hey, guys, I haven't been on BiM in a while.
How's everything going?

Re: Café Corner

I was just wondering about you the other day. Welcome back!
It's going great...I think. College has kept me busy, so I haven't been too active around here.

There's a new Bricks In Motion documentary trailer out, and THAC has been announced.
Those are the major happenings.

And everybody's hyped up about some little film called 'Star Wars 7' that just got released in theaters.

Re: Café Corner

I saw that cool new Star Wars thing.  I had not felt so emotional in years.  It was beautiful.  A dream come true.

I was really busy wrapping up my Batman film, but then Fallout 4 came out and I forgot about doing anything productive for a while.  I just need my sister to finish the music and I should be able to release it.  However, she's also been so wrapped in Fallout 4 that her progress is slow.

Right now I'm trying to get back to Darkmoor with the animation for Batman out of the way completely.  I managed to get a great set of lines done a few days ago so that part is going pretty well.  Although I inadvertently smashed part of the set today, which was rather depressing, but when ever I think of Star Wars, I am in awe of its beauty and it fills me with determination.

I'm not sure really why I disappeared from BiM for a while.  For several days I had given up the Internet so Star Wars wouldn't be spoiled for me, and I remembered how much I loved being around here.
Hopefully I'll have that new Batman video out soon so I'll look like I'm actually a brickfilmer.

Re: Café Corner

Glad to see you back, Squid! It's been a while. I look forward the the release of your Batman film, you've been threatening it so long, the hype is huge mini/tongue

I'm not sure if you're allowed to use the Audio section to make a casting call, since the film isn't Lego.
But you're more than welcome to use PM's to contact people individually.
You may even be able to make a casting-call of sorts in the Community section, as an off-topic type thread.

Hey Guys, just wondering if there is a place where I can get voices for live action? Not sure if that's allowed 'round here but I was just checking. Thanks mini/smile

When I was looking for voice actors for my next film, someone suggested this website. I don't think many people here would approve of you posting a casting call for a non-Brickfilm.

Re: Café Corner

Why do you need recorded voices for live action?

I do not brickfilm anymore, but you can see my live action stuff here.

You could also perhaps contact brickfilmer voice actors directly, rather than posting a public casting call.

Yeah, I was going to ask the same question.

An example would be characters that are suited up with a full costume i.e Darth Vader, Iron Man, and adding a recorded line over his/her gestures. Re-recording lines in post (ADR) is quite a common thing nowadays.

Message smeagol to ask him to change your name. That's what I did.

Re: Café Corner

Yep, if you want to change your username, just sent Smeagol a PM.

That being said, hadn't you changed it once before?
It's best to make sure you like a name before switching to it, then regretting the change.
