My experience with the C920 mic is that it pales very much in comparison to the Quickcam Pro 9000's built-in one, which itself is pretty mediocre (not too bad, though). When I tried recording with it I got very grainy and echo-y sound, which wasn't very pretty.
I'll give it a go. I think perhaps from what you're saying, as a mic it is better for skyping than for films. I will still give it a go though, because as I said earlier, my current mic isn't fantastic.
I've been having a really nice Christmas this year, and got some cool new LEGO sets, including the Doctor Who set.
How is everyone else faring?
My brother Lee also got a great bunch of video games, including Undertale, which I just beat yesterday and I really liked it.
when ever I think of Star Wars, I am in awe of its beauty and it fills me with determination.
Also, I made that quoted post a few days before playing ever playing Undertale, and yet it looks like an intentional reference to Undertale.
Weird.
This small coincidence fills me with determination.

New Years is almost upon us! Every year my dad, brother, and I stay up till midnight watching one of the National Treasure films (not sure why we watched those films in particular though) but this year we are thinking of watching the Extended Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers to change up our annual routine a bit. Anyway, the next time I post on this forum will probably be in the year 2016. Farewell to all, and I'll see you guys on the other side! Have a Happy New Year!

After a few days of final checking for errors and getting the sound mix just right, the documentary is done.
I'm assuming you fixed the closed captioning problem then?
Yes, but I haven't finished writing the captions. I expect I will release the film to backers before the captions are done since I can add them retroactively pretty easily.
Any idea when it'll be sent out to the backers?
After THAC is over, probably Monday. Possibly sooner.
I have a question, I want to order pieces for building a bunch of something for a new video, the problem is I don't think I can get them all on Pick a Brick and I'm not sure how to get them all on Brick Link. Do I have to order every piece from a different person? Also how do you think I should I find the pieces? I'm not sure what there all called. If it would help if I posted a picture of what I want to order pieces for I can post one two.

I believe there are tools that you enter a list of bricks+quantity+color and then they search bricklink for sellers that have the largest percentage of parts on your list
Since THAC tons of people have been BiM. A few days ago I'd go down to the bottom of the site and it'd be a few people and it's like everyone.
