Topic: Panic/Live Action Camera Movement

I wanted to test tracking live action camera movement onto stop-motion footage. I gave it a little bit of jerkiness to make it seem like it's stop-motion. Let me know what you think.

Looks really good. Was the minifigure life action?

Nope. I actually tried my hand at animating 24fps. If you take away all the effects it's obvious he's stop-motion.

Re: Panic/Live Action Camera Movement

I would suggest making it less shaky. Just having a little bit of shaking would be more realistic.

I do not brickfilm anymore, but you can see my live action stuff here.

As far as the effects go, that was quite good. At first I thought it was a post production shake/animated shake, so good job on that. However, like Tims said, it was too shaky.

I agree, but I am trying to make the pilot's situation a panic.

Re: Panic/Live Action Camera Movement

Yes, shaky camera would help to demonstrate that. But too much makes it hard to see.
