Woah... that is a masterpiece. You never cease to amaze with your animations, Cheesy. It's so simple, yet, so complex. Too bad I don't have a 4K monitor to view it on. mini/tongue

Re: Horse in Motion

Hopefully this doesn't get lost due to all the D&L entries. It's a wonderful piece of work, and I recommend everyone watch in high quality and full screen for full effect. I am absolutely loving the experimental nature of your brickfilms. I liked pausing the film to observe the pieces used, and my favourite was the horse within the horse's head in one frame.

Back in 2008 Mirko Horstmann made brickfilm with similar elements for the Steinerei. It's simpler, but at the same time very creative. You should watch it mini/smile

Re: Horse in Motion

Hey A.! Good to see you around here again. That's a great recommendation; Remake is a fantastic film. I'd like to see more brickfilms animated in this mosaic style, and try it myself sometime. Some of your own films are other great examples of that, actually.

Re: Horse in Motion

Wow. I am amazed by your work. Just went through your Youtube channel and saw Paint, and it's just. Wow.

Re: Horse in Motion

This is so cool. What frame rate do you shoot at? and do you use motion blur?

I do not brickfilm anymore, but you can see my live action stuff here.

Re: Horse in Motion

Wow, thanks for the comments guys! I'm glad you like it mini/smile

The loop consists of 16 frames, played back at 24 frames per second. I don't use any motion blur.

Great recommendation, I had actually watched it while working on the animation! It's always nice to see different approaches to a similar sequence, and if people haven't seen Remake I do recommend giving it a watch.

Also, in case anyone is interested I do now have posters available based on my animation. You guys can use the promo code BIM to get 20% off mini/wink
